There’s no shortage of design prestige and style in the Palm Springs region. Known for it’s architecture, high-end retail and recreation, and the captured attention of celebrities, tourists, and even presidents- little room for an underwhelming convention and visitors bureau web experience exists. Add the fact that during the Coachella Valley region’s tourism high-season the population triples, and the heat get’s turned up.
A responsive web and mobile presence fitting of a design-minded target market, however, fun and inviting to new would-be tourists- loaded with vast amounts of information on businesses, attractions, events, and more.

Mobile design for the Palm Springs CVB site was not an afterthought, but a concurrent undertaking. Custom CSS and javascript frameworks were engineered to accomplish both effectively within a short window to allow maximum time for testing prior to launch.
Translating a massive database of businesses, events, venues, attractions and more to an intensively complex navigation and search bar which even tastefully provided precise geolocation and mapping features… and live city-by-city weather.
